Upper Kenai River FishingThe "upper" Kenai river is classified as the section of water between Kenai Lake and Skilak Lake. This section flows from Cooper Landing through the mountains to the flat lands of he Kenai peninsula. This is a popular fishery in June for Sockeye. This time and the rest of the year offers great Rainbow and Dolly Varden fishery. This is a drift boat non-motorized area only. It is very scenic with Dall Sheep and other critters indigenous to Alaska's Mountain Regions, a great drift boat adventure.
